Veg Grill Sandwich (White sauce based)



VEG GRILL SANDWICH

Ingredients
  • 12 Slices Bread
  • 1 onion
  • 1(Equivalent to onion) Cabbage
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 Carrot
  • Bunch French beans
  • 1 Cup Boiled Corn
  • Round slices Cucumber
  • 2 cup Grated Cheese
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Green chilli paste
  • 2 Cup White Sauce
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 2Tsp Maida
  • 2Tbsp Butter
Cooking Directions
  1. For White sauce: Heat 2Tbsp butter in a Pan, add 2 tsp Maida and keep frying until the rawness of Maida is gone.
  2. Add Milk to it and keep stirring so that no lumps are formed.
  3. (In case lumps are still found, use hand blender and blend the sauce until the lumps are removed).
  4. Now once the sauce is prepared add all the finely chopped vegetables, corn and mix it well. Add the required amount of salt and black pepper.
  5. Now spread butter on one side and spread the sandwich mixture on the buttered side. Place the rounded cucumber slice over it and add grated cheese, cover it with a slice of bread. Now place it in the grill and then grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes or till golden.
  6. Serve it hot with tomato sauce or mint chutney.
