Bread rolls/ Bread Pockets

Bread pockets made out of bread and potatoes. An easy to make and a delicious sanck!!

Ingredients
  • 4 Bread Slices(White or brown)
  • 1 Medium size Boiled potatao
  • 2 Finely chopped green chilli
  • A pinch of Jeera powder(cumin powder)
  • A pinch of Garam Masala
  • A pinch of aamchur powder
  • To taste salt
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • 1 Medium size Finely chopped onions
  • 6-7 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • pinch of Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • For frying oil
Cooking Directions

  • Mash the boiled potatoes and set it aside.Add about 1-2tsp of oil in a wok. Now add finely chopped garlic,ginger paste,chopped green chillies.
  •  Cook it for a while and then add finely chopped onions.
  •  Cook till onions get translucent.Add mashed potato to it and add all the masala,cook for a while. 
  • Now add chopped coriander and remove from flame.divide the masala in 4 equal portions and make oval shape balls.
  • Cut the edges of the bread and pat them with some water so that they get soft. now place the potato masala ball and make a roll out of it.cover the edges of the bread with water.Now fry it until golden brown.
  • Cut it into half and Serve it with green chutney and/or tomato sauce.
